Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training.

As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Chung manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.

He practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery.

He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and TMJ disorders.

Dr. Chung has a special interest in dental implantology, and performs a wide range of dental implant procedures, including bone grafting.

Surgical Staff

Dr. Chung's staff members are oral surgery certified, and specially trained in assisting with the administration of general and IV anesthesia, all within a state of the art office-based environment.

Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Dr. Chung is registered with the Dental Board of California as a provider of office-based anesthesia services.
