DIOS Center is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to our team, Dr. Richard D. Bae, who is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr. Bae is from Vancouver, BC, Canada. He received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry graduating with honors in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He completed his oral surgery internship and residency at New York University Medical/Bellevue Hospital Center where he served as Executive Chief Resident. Dr. Bae also completed a fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City specializing in orthognathic surgery.
Dr. Bae has extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, outpatient general anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction. He is a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesia.
He has published articles in the professional literature on topics ranging from award-winning oral cancer research, dental implants, bone grafting, and maxillofacial trauma to distraction osteogenesis. He has lectured on a local and national level about CT-guided dental implant placement and oral pathology.

Dr. Bae has organized and participated on numerous international outreaches to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. His most recent outreach was to Oaxaca, Mexico for the treatment of children born with cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Bae is dedicated to providing quality patient care by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to ensure optimal patient safety and comfort.
